Sekinchan Paddy Field 2.0 (2016)

Sekinchan, which literally means “village suitable for plantation” in Chinese, lives up to its name as the town is the rice bowl of Selangor. Large plots of land are cultivated to produce the staple rice supply of Malaysians. This area is well-known for its high yield of rice and mechanised farming methods. (Cited from sekinchan.org)

We captured our first aerial shots of the paddy harvest more than two years ago, and had since been shared and used in various Facebook pages, websites, MTVs, TV shows and other personal projects. Bird Eye View – Aerial Showcase

Since last year, we have been incorporating aerial shots into our films whenever possible. They provide a different angle of view to the location of an event like a wedding venue with beautiful scenery. With a helicam and GoPro camera, we are able create some stunning and dramatic aerial footage that adds to the visual story telling. However, this can only be performed on safe weather when there is no rain or high-wind. Below are some of our showcase of aerial works.
